Class Schedule and Registration
MBTI® Step I has long been used successfully in team building activities. Now it’s time to add the power of MBTI Step II to your set of skills. Step II helps both type-diverse and type-alike teams, by identifying specific behavioral differences that may lead to misunderstandings and by clarifying how individuals with the same types may still differ in important ways.
Team members find the specific facets of Step II useful in understanding both their own and others’ behaviors, as well as learning ways to incorporate different viewpoints. This session will include a model to use in MBTI-based team building, information on when not to use type in teams, and multiple activities to help participants use Step II with their teams.
Participants should have an understanding of Step II and bring their Step II results with them. There will be the opportunity to try out a number of team exercises.
Participants will learn how to use Step II to:
- Explore the facets with teams
- Identify and improve the team decision-making style
- Facilitate communication in teams
- Manage conflicts based on style differences
- Discover how to help team members adjust to change
